Our sweet Maya NEEDS A HOME!!

She’s currently being fostered in London as her first adoption didn’t work out. It was not Maya’s fault. She’s a puppy and the adopter became ill.

From Maya’s lovely foster Tina: 

“Maya is an 8 month old puppy with all the characteristics of a shepherd dog. She is a fiercely loyal, protective and loving dog who only wants to be loved and protected.

Maya, like any puppy of her age is hyperactive and needs to be walked for at least one and a half hours a day. 

She is very curious and friendly and equally enjoys time on her own and with her friends. However, Maya would greatly benefit from living with another dog that is a bit older and more relaxed. She loves to follow other dogs lead and play chase and fight with them (her bff Hazel is a hound dog and the two of them love chasing each other and playing rough on occasion).

As a highly excitable dog Maya would best suit a house with older kids as she loves little ones too much and can be a bit too much for them.

She will need lead training and continual work but she is house trained and very good with recall.

If I could choose a dream home for her it would be a small farm where she can run around with another dog and play with older kids. Oh and don’t worry if you have a cat, she loves them! As a dog that reacts to other animal energies she will be absolutely amazing with any of your pets!”
