Medo was rescued in 2015 when city of Sarajevo started killing street dogs. Until then, Medo lived in an area called Vogošća with Bubica, Grasy and Dona, who were since adopted.

They were regularly fed by the local people so they didn’t have to savage the streets. Hope team saved Medo at the last moment. The dog catchers already had the tie around his neck so he already experienced trauma. He’s been with us since 2015. He’s a real teddy bear.

Cherry was his best friend and kennel mate until she went to foster care in the UK. Medo generally prefers older dogs. He is gentle dog who just wants love and comfort
